Kendall County Board Chairman Scott Gryder Kicks Off Media Campaign with Commercial Debut, “A Proven Leader.”
Running Across Illinois’ 14th Congressional District, Introduction Highlights Gryder’s Record of Service to Constituents.
Oswego, IL – As the campaign to replace lackluster incumbent Representative Lauren Underwood heats up, Kendall County Board Chairman, Scott R. Gryder inaugurated an energetic media campaign with the debut of his first televised commercial, scheduled to run in every county of Illinois 14th District over the next two weeks.
Titled “A Proven Leader,” the commercial highlights the critical issues before voters and underscores Gryder’s record of delivering results for his constituents as he seeks to serve as the next Representative from Illinois 14th Congressional District. In announcing his release, Chairman Gryder issued the following statement:
“My campaign is about the future of the 14th District and the failures of Lauren Underwood, who serves as a rubber stamp for Joe Biden. Together, their priorities and policies have delivered us a weakened economy, unsafe communities, and never-ending intrusion by an overreaching government into our daily lives in support of their political goals.
To highlight the stark difference between our records, I am excited to announce my dynamic outreach to voters across Illinois 14th District has begun in earnest with the release of my debut, “A Proven Leader.”
I’m a consensus-building, pragmatic conservative with the right experience, and I prioritize results over rhetoric. As Kendall County Board Chairman, I’ve driven a pro-business, pro-family, pro-freedom agenda, and today Kendall County leads all other Illinois counties in growth.
I want to deliver the same results for all residents of Illinois 14th District, and in Congress, where others have failed to lead, I will.
I will make public safety a priority and support the men and women of law enforcement who protect and serve our communities every day.
I will continue to fight for taxpayers, especially homeowners. I will keep bringing good paying jobs to the 14th District for those who struggle to make ends meet as we confront an economy in the grip of rising cost-of-living for everyday people.
Voters across the 14th District will have opportunity to meet me and learn more about my record of consensus building advocacy on behalf of the people I am honored to represent in coming weeks.
Today, however, I state unequivocally – I’m proud of my proven record and if elected, I promise every day I serve in Congress will be spent the same way, tackling hard jobs with hard work on behalf of the citizens who have entrusted me to fight for them!”
Gryder is seeking the Republican nomination in the upcoming primary to challenge Lauren Underwood for the future of Illinois’ 14th Congressional District.
